Rothsay fleet goes green with biodiesel PDF Print E-mail

Officials at the Rothsay rendering plant on Hwy. 5 West recently announced that the facility’s 40-truck fleet based near Greensville will be fuelled by a five per cent blend (B5) of biodiesel produced at its Montreal plant.
The move to ‘go green’ with the local fleet is an expansion of the company’s biodiesel program which began in 2002 when Rothsay’s Montreal fleet converted to biodiesel produced from animal by-products and recycled restaurant grease.
