Autogas Offers Biodiesel at 3 BC Stations PDF Print E-mail

Autogas biodiesel pumpFebruary 28, 2008 - Burnaby, BC - At AUTOGAS PROPANE LTD. our vision is to be the leader in offering alternative fuel choices. Moving forward with that vision, Mr. Bob Good, President, of Autogas Propane Ltd. has announced 3 retail locations now offering BIODIESEL FUEL. The stations are at 4th and Main Street, Vancouver, 3390 Lake City Way, Burnaby and 5605 Byrne Road, Burnaby. This cleaner burning fuel helps eliminate pollutants. The investment to make biodiesel available using its card lock distribution network is a part of the company’s commitment to being a supplier of environmentally friendly fuel products.

Autogas believes that fuels which have lower carbon content will be increasing in market demand. Autogas decided that it had to "walk the talk” on biodiesel and committed to using biodiesel lends across its own transportation fleet. Since January 2006, when Autogas opened its first retail biodiesel refueling facility at 10128 Nordel Court in Delta, the company’s fleet of local fuel delivery tandems, tridems, and light-duty trucks have been running on a biodiesel blend of 40% Biodiesel year round. Look for the upcoming additions to our Bio network in the spring of 2008 to include Rutland and Winfield in the greater Kelowna area.
