Overview of Biofleet

Purpose - BioFleet is a program that encourages and supports the use of biodiesel fuel by fleets across British Columbia under a common, highly visible brand name

Participation - Any fleet that uses diesel fuel is welcome to join the BioFleet program. Participation is voluntary and a fleet may withdraw at any time

Benefits of Participation

Common Brand - Fleets will have access to a common “brand” name and logo materials. " BioFleet Biodiesel. Powered By Nature"

Expectations of Biofleet Participants

Fuel Use - Fleets should use biodiesel in their operations at a volume that a fleet deems appropriate

Fuel Quality - All biodiesel must meet or exceed ASTM or CGSB fuel quality standards as indicated by 3rd party certification 

Biofleet Logo - Using the BioFleet logo and materials on vehicles that are using biodiesel fuel are at a fleet's discretion

Reporting - Upon request each fleet will report on an annual basis the total amount of biodiesel used and number of vehicles using the fuel
